Stroom

Privacy policy

Effective September 5, 2026

Stroom (Струмочок) helps you manually track batteries and remember maintenance. No account is required, and the app does not connect to your power devices.

Your saved device records stay on your device unless you export or back them up. We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app usage and diagnose crashes. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

What stays on your device

Device names, models, battery levels, capacities, maintenance dates, notes, and app preferences are stored locally. Widgets use these local records to show your devices. Stroom does not automatically upload your device list or provide a developer-hosted cloud account.

Maintenance reminders are scheduled locally through Android or iOS. You can manage reminders in the app and notification permissions in your system settings.

If you export a backup, it includes your saved device records, including names and notes. You choose where to save or share it. Your operating system may also back up app data according to your device and cloud-backup settings. Manage exported files and system backups separately from the app.

Usage analytics and crash reports

Firebase Analytics helps us understand which screens and features are used. Our custom events contain a predefined event name only, without app-supplied parameters. We do not include device names, search text, notes, battery values, or payment credentials in those events, and we do not assign a custom user ID.

Firebase also collects its own technical information, including an app-instance or installation identifier, app and operating-system versions, device information, timestamps, session activity, and approximate location derived from network information. This is not precise GPS location.

Firebase Crashlytics collects crash stack traces, exception information, installation identifiers, and technical device and app context so we can investigate failures. Crash reports can include runtime information associated with an error. We do not deliberately attach your saved device records or notes to them.

Analytics and crash reporting are enabled by default. Stroom does not provide an in-app opt-out. Advertising identifier collection and advertising personalization are disabled in our Firebase integration.

Google processes this information through Firebase and Google Analytics. Crashlytics retains crash data and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning deletion from live and backup systems. Analytics retention follows the service’s retention settings; aggregated reports may remain longer. Read Firebase’s privacy and security information, Analytics data retention information, and Google’s Privacy Policy.

One-time purchases

The optional lifetime unlock is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. Apple or Google processes the payment. Stroom uses store-provided purchase and entitlement information to unlock features and restore purchases; we do not receive your full payment-card details.

Your store account and transaction records are handled under Apple’s Privacy Policy or Google’s Privacy Policy.

Feedback, links, and this website

You can copy a catalogue feedback draft to your clipboard or share it using your device’s sharing controls. Copying alone does not send the draft to us. If you send it, the recipient and service you choose receive its contents. If you contact us, we receive your message, contact details, and anything you include, and use them to respond and handle the issue.

Manufacturer guides and other external links open third-party websites with their own privacy practices. This privacy page has no embedded app analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Our hosting and delivery providers, Hetzner and Cloudflare, process ordinary web requests, which may include IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs, and access logs for delivery and security.

Retention, your choices, and contact

You can edit or delete saved devices in Stroom. Removing local app data or deleting the app removes its local records, but does not automatically erase exported files, system backups, store transactions, or reports already sent to Firebase.

We keep support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information, object to processing, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request. Because Stroom has no user account, we may need additional information to locate relevant records; do not send passwords or payment-card details.

Stroom’s developer can be reached at habeeto.app@gmail.com for privacy questions and requests.

Processing location and security

Service providers may process information outside your country. Their published privacy terms describe their international processing and safeguards. We limit the information our custom events send and use the providers’ secure connections. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and policy updates

Stroom is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
